Position Overview

As a Care Manager at Starlight Support Services, you will oversee the delivery of high-quality care and support services to our clients. Your leadership will ensure that services are efficient, effective, and responsive to the needs of the individuals we serve. You will work closely with staff, clients, and external partners to maintain and improve service standards.

Key Responsibilities:

·    Oversee the day-to-day operations of the service, ensuring that all activities comply with regulatory standards and organizational policies.

·    Develop, implement, and monitor service plans to meet the needs of clients effectively.

·    Supervise, support, and develop staff, ensuring they have the necessary skills and training to perform their roles.

·    Conduct regular assessments and evaluations to ensure the quality and effectiveness of services.

·    Manage budgets and resources efficiently to meet financial targets and ensure sustainability.

·    Maintain accurate and up-to-date records and reports on service delivery and client outcomes.

·    Liaise with clients, families, and external agencies to coordinate care and support services.

·    Develop and implement strategies for continuous improvement in service delivery.

·    Handle complaints and feedback from clients and families, ensuring swift and effective resolution.

·    Stay informed about industry trends, best practices, and changes in legislation to ensure compliance and innovation.

Requirements:

·    Bachelor's degree in Social Work, Healthcare Management, or a related field.

·    Proven experience in a managerial role within the social care or healthcare sector.

·    Strong understanding of regulatory requirements and best practices in service delivery.

·    Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to motivate and manage a team effectively.

·    Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.

·    Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.

·    Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
